Improving Dreams Equality Access and Success (IDEAS)

 What is IDEAS Club?

IDEAS stands for Improving Dreams of Equality, Access, and Success. The club originated from an immigrant support club that started at UCLA in 2003. IDEAS Club in Alhambra High School is motivated to support and advocate for the immigrant population in the city of Alhambra. The club provides leadership training, event planning, and a safe space for all students. To have immigrant students feel welcomed in the San Gabriel Valley area.

What does IDEAS Club do?

Our club helps create a safe space for everyone by training students to advocate for them self, giving emotional support, community organizing, and collaborate with the VISA club to run the dream center. We also support group for undocumented individuals, fundraising, leadership activities, College field trips, and connecting communities in AHS.
